West End Diagnostic Imaging (WEDI) was established in 1978. The network server will facilitate storage and transfer of the digital CR (computed radiography) and GI images along with US images to an existing PACS system. The clinic US is on a PACS system and radiography is now digital. The facility also provides Transrectal Prostate US (TRUS), TRUS-guided prostate biopsies, and hysterosonograms. At present, as well as General Musculo-skeletal, Mammography, GI/Fluoroscopy services, West End Diagnostic Imaging performs General Radiographic services, Prostate and Vascular Ultrasound (4 rooms). We provide imaging services to the physicians in High Park, Bloor West, Etobicoke, and surrounding areas. Our office is located on the main floor of a Toronto West Professional center, Ontario, Canada. This IHF facility has maintained outstanding high quality private outpatient services at the west end of Toronto. The PACS data images are routed automatically for a review by a radiologist on a primar.
